Benefit Description
Guaranteed Death Benefit (GDB) is an optional death benefit is available which allows for both annual index increases and guaranteed boosts to equal 150% of the premium, less withdrawals, at the end of year five and 225%, less withdrawals, at the end of year ten which increase the lifetime income withdrawal amount. The optional death benefit is payable over a 5 year period. A lump sum option of 75% of the optional death benefit amount is available. If the account value reaches zero, the death benefit no longer applies.
