The death benefit will be the greater of the standard death benefit amount or the GMDB amount. GMDB Amount is equal to the initial premium on the rider issue date, thereby increases with the additional premium and GMDB roll-up amount. The GMDB Roll-Up amount is equal to 8% of net premiums and applied on each contract anniversary during the GMDB Roll-Up period. The GMDB Roll-Up period is from the issue date of the contract until either the contract anniversary on which the oldest reaches age 85 or until the Maximum GMDB Amount (200% of net premiums) is met, whichever comes first.
