Accelerated Death Benefit

The Death Benefit is greater of:1) Contract value, 2) Guaranteed Minimum Surrender Value, or 3) 8% Roll-up Value – purchase payments accumulated daily at 8% interest, compounded annually (up to a maximum of 200% of contract value). To be eligible either must meet the definition of 1) Chronic Illness: Unable to perform at least two of the six Activities of Data Living (bathing, continence, dressing, eating, toileting, and transferring), or 2) Terminal Illness: life expectancy of 12 months or less, the condition must be certified by a Licensed Health Care Practitioner within the preceding twelve-month period. The waiting period of 30 days.
