Benefit Description
Enhanced Death Benefit will be equal to the greater of (i) the contract value or (ii) the Standard Death Benefit amount. The EDB amount is equal to the purchase payment, adjusted for withdrawals plus EDB Rollup amount. During the EDB Rollup Period, an EDB Rollup amount will be credited to the EDB amount at the end of each Interest Term. EDB Rollup amount is equal to the EDB Rollup basis, multiplied by EDB Rollup percentage; where EDB Rollup basis is equal to Purchase Payment adjusted for withdrawals. The EDB Rider Charge is deducted annually for each Interest Term and is equal to the EDB Amount on the date that the EDB Rider Charge is calculated multiplied by the EDB Rider Charge Percentage.
