Benefit description
Upon the death of the participant, the amount payable shall be the greater of (a) the Guaranteed Minimum Cash Surrender Value or (b) the Account Value, reduced by any applicable premium taxes and rider charges. If the Contract has no Cash Surrender Value at the time of such death due to annuitization, any annuity payments, if applicable, shall continue to the Beneficiary in accordance with the annuity option previously elected.
