Basic Death Benefit

Available during accumulation phase. Upon death of annuitant, benefit will be greatest of - 1) contract value, 2) total purchase payments adjusted for withdrawals, or 3) Highest contract value on any 5th contract anniversary value prior to annuitant's 86th birthday reduced for withdrawals and increased by purchase payments made.
