Basic Death Benefit

Available during accumulation phase. Upon death of owner or annuitant, benefit will be greater of - 1) contract value, less any Purchase Payment Credits applied to Contract Value within 12 months of owner or annuitant's death, or 2) net purchase payments adjusted for withdrawals.
