Basic Death Benefit

Upon death of owner death benefit will be equal to contract value. Under this rider beneficiary has an option to take entire interest in lumpsum, if not then the interest can be distributed in one of the following options (as chosen by the owner) - a) over the life span of the beneficiary, but distribution must begin within one year of the deceased owner's death or b) must be distributed within 5 years of the owners death.
