Basic Death Benefit

Available during accumulation phase. Upon death of annuitant age 80 or younger, benefit will be greater of - 1) contract value on or prior to seventh contract anniversary, or 2) total purchase payments adjusted for withdrawals. Beneficiary must elect either lump sum or deferral for up to 5 years payout option in case beneficiary is a non-natural person. Please see prospectus for details.
