Standard Death Benefit

Available during accumulation phase. Upon death of annuitant, benefit will be greater of - 1) contract value; or 2) total purchase payments adjusted for withdrawals. If annuitant is age 73 or younger at contract issue and dies after seventh contract anniversary, the death benefit is the greatest of - 1) contract value on seventh contract anniversary; 2) total purchase payments adjusted for withdrawals; or 3) account value on Death benefit date.
