Basic Death Benefit

Available during accumulation phase. Upon death of annuitant age 74 or younger at issue, benefit will be greatest of - 1) contract value, 2) total purchase payments adjusted for withdrawals, or 3) highest contract value on any contract anniversary prior to annuitant's 76th birthday adjusted for withdrawals and subsequent payments.
