5% Enhanced Death Benefit

Available during accumulation phase. Upon death of annuitant, benefit will be greater of - 1) contract value, or 2) total purchase payments adjusted for withdrawals, accumulated at 5% simple interest from date of each purchase payment or surrender to most recent contract anniversary prior to annuitant's 86th birthday adjusted for withdrawals and subsequent payments. Total accumulated amount may not exceed 200% of net of purchase payments and amounts surrendered. Benefit also includes a Long-Term Care/Nursing Home Waiver.
