Optional Death Benefit rider is a term life insurance rider that can help in passing more of annuity value to the beneficiaries. Rider gives to the beneficiary an additional tax-free benefit of up to 28% of the taxable interest in the annuity. This available only for NQ contracts. Change in ownership will result in termination of rider.
