Upon death of owner, benefit will be greatest of -1) contract value, 2) net purchase payments or 3) greatest contract value on any contract anniversary prior to owner's 81st birthday. For state of NY and WA current charge is 0.30% of benefit base. State variations may apply. Surviving spouse's should be 75 or younger on the owner's death.
