Basic Death Benefit

Available during accumulation phase. Upon death of owner, benefit will greater of - 1) contract value or 2) minimum guaranteed contract value. Minimum Guaranteed Contract Value will not be less than 90% of all premiums less withdrawals, and premium taxes, if applicable, accumulated at the applicable minimum guaranteed strategy value rate for the first nine contract years. The initial minimum guaranteed strategy value rates are set at contract issue and will not change for nine years.
