Benefit Description
Available during accumulation phase. Upon death of annuitant, benefit will be greatest of - 1) contract value; 2) total purchase payments adjusted for withdrawals; 3) highest contract value on any contract anniversary prior to annuitant's 81st birthday adjusted for withdrawals and subsequent payments; or 4) 5% interest anniversary value. 5% interest anniversary value prior to annuitant's 81st birthday, is equal to purchase payments accumulated at 5% annual compound interest adjusted for withdrawals. Total accumulated amount, after the withdrawal adjustment, shall not exceed 200% of purchase payments adjusted for amounts withdrawn. Only available in states where Combination Enhanced Death Benefit III Option is not yet approved.
