Highest Daily Death Benefit

Benefit is only available in conjunction with Highest Daily Lifetime Income 3.0 or Spousal Highest Daily Lifetime Income 3.0. Upon death of owner and annuitant, benefit will be greater of - 1) minimum death benefit; 2) highest daily death benefit. On the date of election, the highest daily death benefit amount is equal to unadjusted account value, thereafter benefit amount will be the greater of - 1) unadjusted account value; or 2) highest daily death benefit amount, increased by any purchase payments made, reduced by the effect of withdrawals. Non-Lifetime and excess lifetime withdrawals will proportionately reduce the highest daily death benefit. Lifetime withdrawal that is not considered as excess withdrawal will reduce the benefit amount by dollar amount. Owner must select an Asset Allocation Program.
