Available before annuitization, upon death of owner benefit is greater of contract value or minimum surrender value.Minimum surrender value is equal to 100% of aggregate purchase payments less aggregate gross withdrawals, all accumulated at an annual effective interest rate of 1%, reduced by any applicable withdrawal charge.
