Annual Step-up Death Benefit

Available during accumulation phase. Upon death of owner, benefit will be greater of - 1) contract value, 2) total purchase payments adjusted for withdrawals for withdrawals and partial or 3) with currently available information highest contract value calculated on any contract anniversary, later to lock in date which is Contract anniversary following the oldest owner 80th birthday (or annuitant, if non-natural owner) or five years after the Contract issue date.
