Additional Death Distribution+ Rider

Available during accumulation phase only. Upon death of annuitant, amount of additional benefit depends on the amount of time that has passed since the rider date as - 1) If death benefit is payable within first five rider years, additional benefit amount will be equal to the sum of all rider fees paid since the rider date; or 2) If death benefit is payable after five rider years, additional benefit will be equal to rider benefit base multiplied by rider benefit percentage. Rider benefit base is equal to the contract value less purchase payments made after rider date. Benefit percentage equals 30% for issue ages 0 to 70, to any death benefit payable under contract. No benefit is payable, if the contract value on the date of death benefit is paid, is less than the premium payments after the rider date.
