Basic Death Benefit

Available during accumulation phase. Upon death of owner, benefit will greater of - 1) contract value or 2) guaranteed minimum value. Guaranteed minimum value is the cash surrender value will not be less than 87.5% of all premiums less withdrawals and premium taxes, if applicable, accumulated at applicable minimum guaranteed strategy value rate for first nine contract years. The initial minimum guaranteed strategy value rates are set at contract issue and will not change for seven years.
