Standard Death Benefit

Available during accumulation phase. If owner is age 80 or younger at contract issue, upon death, benefit will be greatest of - 1) contract value; 2) return of purchase payments value; or 3) surrender Value. Return of Purchase Payments Value is equal to initial purchase payments, increased by subsequent purchase payments and reduced for withdrawals. If owner is age 81 or older at contract issue, benefit will be greater of - 1) contract value; or 2) surrender value.
