Contract Value Death Benefit

Rider is available at accumulation phase for NQ contracts only. Upon death of the owner the death benefit will be equal to the contract value. NQ contract owners have an option to elect this rider at reduced M&E charges not varying on ages. If contract value death benefit is elected, M&E will be reduced by 20 basis points to 0.95% with 10-Year CDSC; 1.05% with 7-Year CDSC; and 1.15% with 5-Year CDSC, these charges are further reduced by 10 basis points, if owner contributes $1 million or more to the contract.
