Return of Purchase Payments Death Benefit

Available during accumulation phase. Upon death of owner, benefit will be greater of - 1) contract value, or 2) total purchase payments adjusted for withdrawals. If the value of the Return of Purchase Payments Death Benefit is greater than the Contract Value at the time of the withdrawal, the downward adjustment to the death benefit will be larger than the amount withdrawn. At the time of the Owner death, the Return of Purchase Payments Death Benefit Will be no greater than the Contract Value Death Benefit, in which case no fee is assessed.
