Available during accumulation phase, upon death of owner and annuitant, death benefit is equal to greater of the 1) Balanced Allocation Value (BAV) or 2) surrender value. BAV monitors daily fluctuation in strategy option and is greater of the 1) Contract Value, plus any unrealized strategy earnings or 2) Return of Purchase Payment Guarantee amount.
