Benefit Description
Upon death of owner or annuitant during the accumulation phase, the death benefit amount will be the greater of a) the contract value or b) the total of all purchase payments less withdrawals c) the greatest Contract Value at any sixth Contract Anniversary plus any additional purchase payments paid, less any subsequent withdrawals d) it is payable over the lifetime of the beneficiary with distributions beginning within one year of the owners death.
