Return of Purchase Payments Death Benefit

Available during accumulation phase. Upon death of owner, benefit will be greater of - 1) contract value; or 2) aggregate purchase payments adjusted for withdrawals. If the value of the Return of Purchase Payments Death Benefit is greater than the Contract Value at the time of the withdrawal, the downward adjustment to the death benefit will be larger than the amount withdrawn. It is possible that the Return of Purchase Payments Death Benefit will be no greater than the Contract Value Death Benefit, In such cases, no fee will be charged.
