Benefit Description
If the Contract includes the Asset Protection Death Benefit, the Death Benefit will be the greater of either the Asset Protection Death Benefit or one of two amounts: the total Premium Payments made, minus any adjustments for partial Surrenders, or the Maximum Anniversary Value, minus any Payment Enhancements credited within 12 months before or after death. If the Contract includes the Premium Protection Death Benefit, the Death Benefit will be the greater of either the Premium Protection Death Benefit or the Maximum Anniversary Value, minus any Payment Enhancements credited within 12 months before or after death.
