Basic Death Benefit

Upon the death, a benefit will be equal to the contract value. The owner may elect to receive a lump-sum payment or set a guaranteed lifetime income. Also, the payout option may be specified in advance, only available with non-qualified and IRA contracts. Death Benefit True Up feature is available when utilizing the add-on benefit IncomeAccelerator. Beneficiaries will receive the greater of premiums paid less withdrawals or the Accumulation Value as the standard Death Benefit.
