Waiver

Hospital Waiver: 90 day elimination period; available 30 days from issue date. ADL WAIVER: If the owner is unable to perform two or more of the defined activities of daily living, withdrawal charges are waived.

LIFETIME INCOME RIDER: No-cost rider which allows benefit payments through withdrawals within specified limits for the lifetime of the Covered Life (must be age 60 or older). Initial amount is equal to contract value on the date the first withdrawal taken under the rider and will be recalculated at the beginning of each contract year. The amount may increase the longer the wait to take the first payment. Any unused amount may not be carried over after the end of the contract year. ENHANCED LIFETIME INCOME RIDER: An Optional rider which allows benefit payments through withdrawals within specified limits for the lifetime of the Covered Life (must be age 50 or older) and or spouses as joint owners. Calculated percentages are higher than the Lifetime Income Rider percentages and withdrawal payments may be taken immediately. Initial amount is equal to contract value on the date the first withdrawal taken under the rider, will be recalculated at the beginning of each contract year and may be ‘stepped-up’. The amount may increase the longer the wait to take the first payment. Any unused amount may not be carried over after the end of the contract year.
