Eagle Guarantee Focus 7 ROP is a single premium deferred annuity. The minimum initial contribution is $10,000 for qualified funds and non-qualified funds. 10% free withdrawal is available after the first policy year. Surrender charges are Seven years in duration (8%, 8%, 7%, 6%, 5%, 4%, 3%) and are waived in the event of death, entrance into a nursing home or diagnosis of a terminal illness. GMSV is 90% of single premium minus any withdrawals and guaranteed to never less than 2.65%. There is a guaranteed return of principal which guarantees the sum of all purchase payments, less prior withdrawals. Withdrawals and taxable distributions may be subject to ordinary income tax and if made prior to age 59 1/2, may also be subject to a 10% federal income tax penalty.
