The Retirement Foundation ADV is a limited flexible premium deferred index annuity with a market value adjustment. The minimum single premium is $10,000 for qualified and non-qualified money. 10% of the paid premium may be withdrawn after the contract anniversary following the most recent premium payment. Surrender charges are 7 years in duration and are waived in the event of entrance into a nursing home, hospital or assisted living care facility. The Flexible Withdrawal Rider is an optional rider which, if elected at an extra cost. The Income Benefit rider provides guaranteed lifetime income withdrawals at additional cost. Withdrawals and taxable distributions may be subject to ordinary income tax and if made prior to age 59 1/2, may also be subject to a 10% federal additional tax.
