The Allianz Accumulation Advantage 5 is a limited flexible premium deferred index annuity with a market value adjustment. This contract includes a free look period of 20 days, or 30 days if contract is taken as a replacement. The minimum single premium is $20,000 for qualified and non-qualified money. Additional premium payments can be accepted during the first 18 months. In the contract years following the most recent premium payment, 10% of paid premium or beginning of the year accumulation value whichever is greater is available each year in one or more free withdrawals. Surrender charges are 5 years in duration and are waived in the event of death, or entrance into any qualified hospital or nursing home. The Flexible Withdrawal Rider is available. Withdrawals and taxable distributions may be subject to ordinary income tax and if made prior to age 59 1/2, may also be subject to a 10% additional federal tax.
