The ANICO Value-Lock 7 is a single premium deferred index annuity. The minimum single premium is $4,000 for qualified and $5,000 for non-qualified money. 10% of the accumulated value may be withdrawn after the first policy year. Systematic Withdrawal is an option. Surrender charges are seven years in duration (8,8,7,6,5,4,2) and are waived in the event of death, disability, entrance into a nursing home or hospital. May choose to stop future participation in the performance of the Index and lock in gains anytime after the 2nd policy anniversary. Withdrawals and taxable distributions may be subject to ordinary income tax and if made prior to age 59 1/2, may also be subject to a 10% federal income tax penalty.
