The Athene Aviator 5-Year is a single premium deferred annuity with a market value adjustment (MVA). A minimum premium of $10,000 is required for both qualified and non-qualified funds. Up to 10% of the Accumulated Value may be withdrawn annually, free of charges or MVA. Upon full surrender, the greater of the Accumulated Value plus Free Withdrawal Gains or the Minimum Guaranteed Contract Value will be paid. Surrender charges apply for five years but are waived in the event of death, nursing home confinement, or terminal illness. The annuity includes a Diversified Blend Strategy feature. Withdrawals and taxable distributions may be subject to ordinary income tax and if made prior to age 59 1/2, may also be subject to a 10% federal income tax penalty.
