The Athene Aviator 10 - Year is a single premium deferred annuity with a market value adjustment (MVA). A minimum premium of $10,000 is required for both qualified and non-qualified funds. Up to 10% of the Accumulated Value may be withdrawn annually, based on the value at the most recent Contract Anniversary. Withdrawals may be subject to federal and state taxes, and a 10% IRS penalty if taken before age 59½, unless exempt. Surrender charges apply for Ten years but are waived in the event of death, nursing home confinement, or terminal illness. The annuity includes a Diversified Blend Strategy feature. Withdrawals and taxable distributions may be subject to ordinary income tax and if made prior to age 59 1/2, may also be subject to a 10% federal income tax penalty.
