The Brighthouse SecureKey Advisory is a single premium deferred index annuity. The contract offers interest equal to the percentage returns of certain securities indices with certain guarantees against negative returns. The cap rate and step rate are the two ways, by which owner can receive interest based on the upside performance of an index. The minimum purchase payment is $25,000 for qualified and non-qualified plans. Surrender charges and Market value adjustment are not available under the contract. Withdrawals and taxable distributions may be subject to ordinary income tax and if made prior to age 59 1/2, may also be subject to a 10% federal income tax penalty. Early surrender charges may also apply. Guarantees based on claims paying ability of insurer. Products/features may not be available in all states.
