The Growth Pathway 5 is a flexible premium deferred index annuity. The minimum single premium is $10,000 for qualified and non-qualified money. Additional premium payments can be made at any time of $500 and maximum total contribution without approval is $1 million. 10% of the total purchase payment and prior years Account Value or RMD may be withdrawn after the first contract anniversary. Surrender charges are 5 years in duration (may vary with state availability); and may be waived in the event of bail out, death, entrance into an eligible nursing home, or diagnosis of a terminal illness. Guaranteed Minimum Account Value (GMAV) is available at no cost. Withdrawals and taxable distributions may be subject to ordinary income tax and if made prior to age 59 1/2, may also be subject to a 10% federal income tax penalty.
