The PrimeStart Bonus 10 is a flexible premium deferred index annuity. The minimum single premium is $25,000 for qualified and non-qualified money. Additional premium payments is $500 and maximum total contribution without approval is $1 million. 10% of premium available for withdrawal in the first year, 10% of previous yearâs account value available after the first year. The product comes up with an addition of Premium Bonus recapture period and Flex-lock feature. Surrender charges are 10 years in duration (may vary with state availability); and may be waived in the event of, death, entrance into an eligible nursing home, or diagnosis of a terminal illness. Withdrawals and taxable distributions may be subject to ordinary income tax and if made prior to age 59 1/2, may also be subject to a 10% federal income tax penalty.
