The SecureLiving Growth+ is a single premium deferred annuity with a market value adjustment. The minimum single premium is $25,000 for qualified and non-qualified money. 10% of the contract value is available after the first contract year without surrender charge or MVA. Surrender charges are ten years in duration, vary by state, and are waived in the event of bailout or death. There is a Medical Care Facility Waiver available at no additional cost which increases the free withdrawal amount from 10% to 20% after the first policy year. The IncomeChoice Rider (single and joint life versions) is included and provides lifetime withdrawals without annuitizing the contract, provided the withdrawals do not exceed a certain amount annually. The withdrawal limit is based on the withdrawal factor multiplied by the contract value. State variations may apply. Withdrawals and taxable distributions may be subject to ordinary income tax and if made prior to age 59 1/2, may also be subject to a 10% federal income tax penalty.
