The Nationwide Peak 5 Series A is a single premium deferred index annuity with a market value adjustment (MVA is not applicable in CA and DE). The minimum single premium is $25,000 for qualified and non-qualified money. The free withdrawal schedule to access a portion of the contract value is 10% of the contract value and is non-cumulative. Surrender charges are based on completed contract years, 5 years in duration and are waived in the event of death, long term care event, terminal illness, or injury event.
