EclipseMark 5 Plus Fixed Indexed Annuity is a single-premium, deferred annuity with a market value adjustment. With a minimum initial contribution of $25,000 for qualified and non-qualified funds, the contract provides interest crediting through fixed and index-linked strategies, subject to caps and participation rates, and includes a guaranteed minimum value. After the first contract year, up to 15% of the accumulated value may be withdrawn annually without surrender charges or MVA. The five-year surrender charge period is waived in the event of annuitization, death, nursing home confinement, or terminal illness. This product offers a premium bonus. Withdrawals may be subject to ordinary income tax and, if made before age 59½, a 15% federal penalty. Guarantees are based on the claims-paying ability of the insurer; availability varies by state.
