The TargetBenefit 15 is a single premium deferred index annuity with a market value adjustment (MVA). The minimum single premium is $5,000 for qualified and non-qualified money. 5% of the accumulation value is available during the first 12 months and 10% of the accumulation value each 12 month period thereafter. Surrender charges are fifteen years in duration (15,15,14,14,13,13,12,11,10,9,8,7,6,5,4) and are waived in the event of death, confinement, or diagnosis of a terminal illness. There are two optional lifetime income riders which, if elected for an additional cost, provide an option to receive lifetime income withdrawals without incurring withdrawal charges or MVA. Withdrawals and taxable distributions may be subject to ordinary income tax and if made prior to age 59 1/2, may also be subject to a 10% federal income tax penalty. Guarantees based on claims paying ability of insurer. Products / features may not be available in all states.
