The TruStage MaxProtect Fixed Annuity is a single premium deferred annuity. The minimum single premium is $10,000 for qualified and non-qualified.  10% of the accumulated value may be withdrawn as of the last contract anniversary, or the purchase payment in year one, without a surrender charge.  Withdrawals are available immediately in year one.  Systematic Withdrawal is an option. Surrender charges vary by guarantee period and are waived in the event of death, entrance into a nursing home or hospital, or diagnosis of a terminal illness.  There is an optional MVA and ROP available. Withdrawals are taxable distributions that may be subject to ordinary income tax and if made prior to age 59 Â½, may also be subject to a 10% federal income tax penalty.  The cash surrender value will never be less than the premium paid, less any: free withdrawals; partial surrenders and premium taxes.  Premium taxes vary by state.  Guarantees based on claims paying ability of insurer.  Products / features may not be available in all states.
