The Apex Control MYGA is a single premium Individual deferred annuity with a market value adjustment. The minimum single premium is $25,000 for both qualified and non-qualified money. 10% of premium available for withdrawal in the first year,10% of previous yearâs account value available after the first year. Surrender charges vary by rate term chosen and are waived in the event of annuitization or death. There is a 30-day window at the end of each guarantee period which allows access to part or all accumulated funds without incurring a withdrawal charge, surrender charge, or market value adjustment and 15 days after (45 days total). State variations may apply. The product has a GMSV of 87.50% and the Minimum interest rate is 3.0%.Withdrawals and taxable distributions may be subject to ordinary income tax and if made prior to age 59 1/2, may also be subject to a 10% federal income tax penalty.
