The Guaranteed Growth Annuity is a single premium deferred annuity. The minimum initial contribution is $5,000 for both qualified and non-qualified funds. 10% of the contract value is available each year without a withdrawal charge. There are five years of surrender which vary by age and state and are waived in the event of death, disability, entrance into a nursing home or hospital, or diagnosis of a terminal illness.
