The WealthQuest Citadel 5 Diamond Annuity - NY is a single premium deferred annuity that allows for additional premium payments in the first year. The minimum initial contribution is $5,000 for both qualified and non-qualified funds. 10% of the accumulated value is available for withdrawal. Surrender charges are five years in length and are waived in the event of death, disability, or entrance into a nursing home or hospital. Withdrawals and taxable distributions may be subject to ordinary income tax and if made prior to age 59 1/2, may also be subject to a 10% federal income tax penalty.
