Eagle Guarantee Focus 3 ROP is a single premium deferred annuity. The minimum initial contribution is $10,000 for qualified funds and non-qualified funds. 10% free withdrawal is available after the first policy year. Surrender charges are three years in duration (9%, 8%, 7%) and are waived in the event of death, entrance into a nursing home or diagnosis of a terminal illness. There is a guaranteed return of principal which guarantees the sum of all purchase payments, less prior withdrawals. GMSV is 90% of single premium minus any withdrawals and guaranteed to never less than 2.65%. Withdrawals and taxable distributions may be subject to ordinary income tax and if made prior to age 59 1/2, may also be subject to a 10% federal income tax penalty.
