The Quatro Select is a Modified Single Premium Deferred Annuity that allows additional contributions. The initial minimum contribution is $2,000 qualified and $10,000 non-qualified. Additional contributions can be made during the first policy year only for a minimum of $1,000. Free withdrawal of accumulated interest is available at any time. Systematic withdrawals are an option. The surrender charge schedule is seven years in duration (7,7,7,6,5,4,3) and are waived in the event of annuitization, death, entrance into a nursing home, or diagnosis of a terminal illness. Withdrawals may be subject to Federal/State income tax, and if taken prior to age 59 1/2, a 10% Federal Penalty tax. Guarantees based on claims paying ability of insurer.
