The WealthQuest Citadel 7 Diamond Annuity - NY is a flexible premium deferred annuity. The minimum initial contribution is $2,000 for qualified and $5,000 for non-qualified funds. 10% of the accumulated value is available for withdrawal. Surrender charges are seven years in length and are waived in the event of death, disability, or entrance into a nursing home or hospital. Withdrawals and taxable distributions may be subject to ordinary income tax and if made prior to age 59 1/2, may also be subject to a 10% federal income tax penalty.
